Animation Backgrounds

I did the lines for nine backgrounds for our animation, which another team member will color.
I might color them myself, sometime.

 

Shading to show divisions in wood since there aren't any other indicators. Other team member would draw in a locket at that location.

Today's Practice

Decided to finish a sketch that I liked. Not a realistic face, but a nice one, I think.

Update 5: Updated

New post. I like the colors on this (half-finished)portrait but it doesn't fit with the rest of the picture so it'll be changed in the final. Thought I'd put it up with no context just because I like it. The colors are coming along nicely though...had some troubles getting started but no it's not taking very long at all.
